Despite the pandemic, I hope you’re able to take some time off for yourself, even if you’re unable to see many family members or friends. Last night my family went for a walk in a light-filled neighbourhood across town. We all wore masks and friends walked us by several blocks of homes with the most spectacular Christmas lights. It was lovely!
Our celebrations will be quieter than usual this year. No dinner for 20 on Dec. 25 as I’ve been doing for three decades. But we’ll mark the season in our household bubble and connect with others via Zoom.
I’ll be away from my blog from Dec. 23 to Jan. 5. In the meantime, I wish you the best of the season. See you next in 2021!
